About Services that we offerservices to enchance your site
|
|
Alerts ServiceThrough the use of NetAgent Alerts Service your site can send notifications to visitors of your site. For instance when someone replies to a forum post, instead sending them an email massage, send real-time notification. Similar to those of MSN Messenger. It is really easy to utilize the service, we provide all the necessary code for free, and all you have to do is call a single method/function whenever you want your site to send automated notification. Through this service you can stimulate your forum community by providing users with instant notifications when someone replays to there question, instead waiting and checking whether someone has replay to their post.
News ServiceMost programs that deliver your sites headlines can only do it through RSS feeds, but NetAgent not only can use RSS feeds, but also you can use WebService to send news to your site's visitors. The RSS approach provides all the standard benefits of RSS, but the WebService has added feature, such as describing the posted news in more detail (eg: category/topic of the posted news). Moreover your site is not repeatedly hit by the attempt to read RSS feed, which causes unnecessary server load, while the server could be processing actual visitor request rather then a program that hits your server every 30 minutes, multiply that by the number of people using such RSS feed reading program. Pulse, when you use WebService your news headlines not only appear on NetAgent, but also on WinInisder.com site. Hence even more people can view your site's content from even more places.
NewsShare ServiceMany sites post info that they find on the web. Also some sites chosen to exchange affiliate links with other web sites, in hopes to make your start-up site more connected to the rest of the web and to drive more visitors. But as many sites on the net, web sites seem to be lonely islands of information. But it is here that WebServices can help, to really make websites more connected to each other. I have created a WebService that allows you to 1) provide content that you post to your sites and 2) consume content that other post on their sites in programmical fashion. The content that you share is linked back to your site (which is by far better then an affiliate link - which is just your site name). With this web service you do not just share you site name, but something that is far more interesting, the content. And you share only what you want. The idea of this WebService Project is like having extra news-posters that contribute news to your site. NewsShare is integrated into your news site, so there actually is no "extra staff members", so you don't have to give editors/administrators privileges for NewsShare to work, as it is up to you which news items you select and add to your site. And you don't need to copy and paste all the data (title, description, link, etc...) of the news or article that you want to post, all is integrated. Another way to think about NewsShare WebService is like... The news arrives to your doorsteps, you select which ones you want. So what are benefits of NewsShare?
So what's the catch?
What's more is that these services will work with any PHP, ASP 3.0 or ASP.NET web sites. |
